Elektra by Mariyana — A violinist's first website, fast and bookable
From zero web presence to a site that earns bookings and sits on her cards
Visit site →The Challenge
Mariyana is a violinist who performs at weddings, gigs, and soirées, but she had zero web presence — no site at all. Prospective clients had no professional place to learn about her, hear her playing, or enquire about booking her for an event.
The Approach
The studio developed an editorial brand identity and a Next.js site that lets the music lead: full-bleed imagery, restrained typography, and a single focused booking enquiry path. Performance was treated as a feature, so the site loads quickly on the phones most prospective clients use.
The Outcome
Mariyana went from no online presence to a professional site she now prints on her business cards as a legitimacy signal. Booking enquiries are confirmed through Resend, and the build scored 94/100 for mobile performance in Lighthouse.
Questions
How do you approach a site for a performing musician?
The priority is credibility, fast. Mariyana performs at weddings and soirées where word of mouth starts the conversation and the site has to close it. That means fast-loading imagery, no distractions, and a single booking enquiry path. Nothing on the page competes with the music.
Why does the site appear on her business cards?
A live, polished website is a trust signal. Putting the address on her cards lets Mariyana hand prospective clients a professional reference point, turning an in-person introduction into a booking enquiry that arrives by email through Resend.
